From babies to preschool, parents choose our nursery so that their child can learn, play and grow in a spectacular environment. Our nursery is based in a beautiful wooded area and we use both indoor and outdoor activities to help children develop their skills.
Your child will benefit from access to our secure Forest School, a stunning place to learn through hands-on experiences. Activities such as den-making, bug-hunting and creating art using natural materials help your child to grow their confidence and become inquisitive learners ready for school.
Open weekdays from 7.30am – 6pm, we care for children from 6 weeks until it’s time to go to school. Unlike many day nurseries, we are open during the school holidays and are closed only on bank holidays and the week of Christmas.
Our ethos is based around the fact that your child is unique and that there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to childcare. Working with you, our staff will learn your child's individual interests, strengths and weaknesses so that we can adapt your child's care based on them and their development. Your child will have their own dedicated key person and will receive individual attention with personalised development plans and activities designed around them.
We know that your child's favourite memories will be made playing outdoors with friends, rather than being cooped up inside. Our amazing outdoor area gives your child the opportunity to learn and play surrounded by nature.
Each room has direct access to its own outdoor play area, which children can play in throughout the day. The inspiring outdoor environment provides an amazing place to learn, play and grow.
Our secure Forest School is an idyllic setting surrounded by trees, bushes and wildflowers. Throughout the year and whatever the weather, your child will visit it to learn about the world around them.
Forest School is all about your child learning about the natural world around them and developing their independence and confidence through hands-on learning experiences.
We know that we can't provide the best care for your child without a strong relationship with you. We will build a shared approach to your child's learning with you, so that we can better personalise their care and adapt to your home routine where appropriate.
Using our secure Famly app on your computer or phone, you can view photos and updates of your child each day as they learn and play.
Your child will be cared for by an experienced team of qualified professionals. Led by a manager with university qualifications, they have the skills, knowledge and compassion to provide excellent care.
We insist on continuous learning and our staff hold additional qualifications, including in paediatric first aid and child safeguarding.
Our team will support your child as they grow at this crucial time in their development. We will help them reach their full potential as they develop their independence and start to socialise with other children.
Each day, our cook makes homemade food on site, using fresh ingredients, locally sourced where possible. Healthy choices are at the heart of our approach and all menus are designed with nutrition in mind.
We know how important it is that you feel comfortable leaving your child in a secure environment. Their safety and security is our top priority and our experienced team work hard to ensure your child can learn and play safety each day.
To keep the nursery secure, our entrances remain locked and only staff can give access to families and visitors. We have strong relationships with parents so that our team know who should be picking up your child and we have a password pick-up system in place if you want to arrange for someone unfamiliar to the nursery to collect them.
Our outdoor spaces are secured with tall fences which allow children to play safely outside, with staff always supervising play.
Our staff work every day to ensure that your child can learn and play in a safe environment. They undergo continuous training and are required to have qualifications in safeguarding, food hygiene and paediatric first-aid. As standard, all our staff have enhanced DBS checks carried out.
Our staff are experienced in caring for children safely and we are proud of how many are longstanding members of the team, many of whom have been with the nursery for years.
